Why should we use ReactJS?

15.11.2023

ReactJS or React.js is an open source web application framework for creating user interfaces. Developed by a Facebook-led developer team, ReactJS is built on the Model-View-Controller principle. Model-View-Controller is an "architectural pattern" used in software engineering. It is based on data abstraction and representation in complex applications where large amounts of data are presented to the user.

ReactJS is an open-source JavaScript library used primarily to create user interfaces for single-page applications. Used to display the display layer for web and mobile applications. React also allows us to create reusable UI components. React was originally created by Jordan Walke, a software engineer who worked at Facebook. It was first introduced to the Facebook newsletter in 2011 and to Instagram in 2012.

Why should we use ReactJS, what are the advantages?

Simplicity

ReactJS is very easy to understand. A component-based approach, a well-defined lifecycle, and the use of simple JavaScript make React easy to learn and build professional web (and mobile apps). React uses a special syntax called JSX that allows combining HTML with JavaScript.

Easy to learn

Anyone with prior programming knowledge can learn it easily. We will only need basic CSS and HTML knowledge.

  1. Mobile and Web Support

ReactJS can be used to create mobile apps (ReactNative). You can develop Web, IOS, Android applications.

Architecture

ReactJS uses One-Way data flow and has a software architecture called dataflow, a distributor that controls the flow of data from a control point to components. Therefore, error checking is easy.

Performance

ReactJS is performant. It provides a performance result with the features we mentioned above.

Testability

Testing ReactJS applications is very easy.
